Dr. Eileen Brann

Biography

Dr. Eileen Brann has been practicing her passion as a speech-language pathologist for over 30 years. She has extensive experience with both children and adults with a variety of speech-language disorders.

Dr. Brann is a specialist in working with children and adults with stuttering, apraxia of speech, oral motor, and language disorders. In her private practice, Dr. Brann values the relationships that she is able to develop with clients, and sees a great benefit to incorporating family members into the speech therapy process.

Professional Journey

Dr. Brann’s professional journey began after she received her Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from Illinois State University. She continued on as a school speech-language pathologist for several years, and then worked in hospital settings with both children and adults.

She has been nationally recognized as a speaker on apraxia of speech and child language disorders and has provided workshops to parent groups, teachers, and other speech-language pathologists.

Dr. Brann received a Master’s degree in educational research in 2011 from UIC. A more recent goal to broaden her professional expertise was accomplished when Dr. Brann was awarded her doctoral degree in special education in 2013.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Brann has been a faculty member at several universities, mentoring the next generation of speech-language pathologists.

All speech-language pathologists at Dr. Brann’s practice are highly experienced in working with people with a variety of speech and language disorders. Our speech – language pathologists are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and are licensed in Illinois.
